I decided to start a new project today since my sweater was such an epic failure. First I dug into my yarn stash and found this beauty. Its from Destination Yarns and the colorway is Vancouver 2010. I bought it to knit a pair of socks during the Vancouver Olympics. You see how well that worked out. Anyway, isn't it pretty!!
Next I needed to wind in from the skein into a ball and I use my swift for this. It looks like the workings from an umbrella but it is the best tool for the job.
Lastly I needed to find a pattern to knit. I went in search of a sock pattern that would go with the yarn and I came up with this lovely...Tadpoles.
Now to grab some needles and cast on...this is my favorite part :)
